    1、 Precautions for using discharge rods as supporting products for DC high-voltage generators

    When discharging a large capacitor sample, after the test is completed, disconnect the test power and wait for a period of time to allow the charge on the sample to self discharge to the ground through the voltage doubler and grounding terminal. The sample itself. It can be observed that the voltage reading on the voltmeter on the control box is gradually decreasing. When the voltmeter drops to a lower voltage, usually around 5Kv~15Kv, a discharge rod can be gradually moved to the vicinity of the tested product and discharged freely through air. At this time, a hissing sound can be heard. If there is no sound, the tip of the discharge rod can be used to contact the sample, and finally the sample can be directly discharged to the ground.

    2. The accumulated charge of a large capacitance sample is directly proportional to the size of the sample capacitance, the level of applied voltage, and the duration of time.

    3. High voltage cables undergo tests over several kilometers, and the discharge time is generally long, requiring repeated discharge. The resistance capacity is large, and a large capacity discharge rod needs to be ordered.

    4. It is strictly prohibited to discharge the test sample with a DC high-voltage discharge rod without unplugging the test power supply.

    5. It is strictly prohibited to squeeze or bend DC high-voltage discharge rods with feet or heavy objects.

    6. It is strictly prohibited to damp the DC high-voltage discharge rod, which may affect the insulation strength. It should be placed in a dry place.

    2、 Correct use of supporting products and discharge rods for DC high-voltage generators

    1. Pull out all the telescopic parts of the portable telescopic new DC high-voltage discharge rod.
