  • Application scope of air drying generator

    Dry air generator is a very important gas manufacturing equipment in industrial production. It uses non thermal regeneration to adsorb compressed air and absorb moisture from the gas, thereby obtaining a lower dew point temperature, dry and clean gas purification equipment. Equipment suitable for users who obtain dew points below -23 ℃. It uses activated alumina with a pore size similar to that of water molecules as the adsorbent, and adopts the internationally advanced pressure swing adsorption principle. When adsorbed at room temperature, the partial pressure of water molecules in the air is greater than that in the adsorbent.

    It enters the adsorbent, condenses into water droplets on the surface of the adsorbent, releases condensation heat, and is stored in the upper part of the adsorption tower. During regeneration, about 15% of the dry air enters the regeneration cylinder through a needle valve at normal pressure, allowing water molecules in the adsorbent to escape. The heat stored in the adsorption tower helps with analysis. Adsorbents are used through adsorption, regeneration, and adsorption recycling, and compressed air is continuously adsorbed and dried to obtain deeply dried gas.

    1. Dry type air generators are widely used to supply dry air during maintenance of large power equipment such as transformers and reactors. The provided dry air can ensure that the insulation inside the power equipment is not affected by moisture, and maintenance personnel will not suffocate due to lack of oxygen while working inside the equipment. It is safer, more economical, and more convenient than using nitrogen.

    2. Reduced the daily workload of pumping and refueling, shortened maintenance cycles, and improved maintenance quality.

    3. Due to the adoption of a reasonable working cycle and the full utilization of adsorption heat, the regeneration effect is good; Less energy savings.

    4. During equipment maintenance, it is not affected by changes in external climate conditions, especially during nighttime operations. All flanges only need to be sealed and filled with dry air at 0.1-0.3Mpa. Oil free transformers, reactors, etc. should not be affected by moisture.

    5. After the oil depot (oil tank) is connected to the gas dryer, it can ensure that the stored oil is in a qualified state for a long time and can be used for emergency projects at any time. It can also be used in other warehouses, libraries, and production sites that require a certain amount of dry air.

    6. During the oil filtration process, the dry air generator can inflate and dry the oil tank and oil of the oil injection equipment. When filtering oil in rainy and humid environments, it can ensure the improvement of oil insulation and the reduction of moisture.
