Recently, a customer from Yulin City, Shaanxi Province purchased a series of high-voltage power measurement equipment from Wuhan Ultra High Voltage, including a power frequency withstand voltage test device, aDC high-voltage generator, and acomplete set of frequency conversion series resonance test devices. For this reason, the customer invited the Wuhan UHV after-sales team to go to the site to carry out instrument usage training.
After arriving at the customer's site, the technical personnel promptly contacted the customer and learned that the customer needed to conduct a power handover test on a 35kV substation. They also needed to guide the customer in completing the corresponding tests for each equipment while training the technical personnel on the equipment.
Firstly, a series of tests were conducted on the 35kV vacuum circuit breaker, including circuit resistance test, insulation test, power frequency withstand voltage test, and switch dynamic characteristic test. The technicians demonstrated these tests one by one. During the demonstration, the technicians explained in detail to the customer the usage of the equipment, the wiring methods for each test, and the precautions required during the test. They emphasized the safety of the circuit breaker withstand voltage test to ensure the efficiency and safety of the customer's future independent use of the equipment for testing. After the patient explanation of the technical personnel, the customer understood the testing methods related to circuit breakers and the usage of the equipment.
Next, the technicians conducted experimental demonstrations on the remaining equipment one by one, explaining in detail the usage, wiring, and functional introductions of each device. It is worth mentioning that in the test of using a transformer volt ampere ratio polarity comprehensive tester to measure the voltage transformer ratio polarity, except for the secondary winding that needs to be connected to the equipment, other windings are not allowed to be short circuited to prevent a sharp increase in transformer current, causing transformer overload and damage, and insulation breakdown causing high voltage from the primary side to string to the secondary side, affecting personal safety and equipment safety.
Under the detailed explanation of the technical personnel, the on-site customers gained a new understanding of our equipment and were able to independently use the instruments for testing. Therefore, the on-site customer manager is very satisfied with this after-sales training, and the Yulin after-sales service trip has come to a successful end!
