1. When using DC high-voltage generators, the staff must be professionals who hold the "High Voltage Test License", first install two obvious disconnection points before the test power supply is put into the test, and the working power supply should be obviously disconnected when the items and wiring are replaced during the test.

2. Before the test, please check whether the DC high-voltage generator control box, double pressure cylinder and test ground wire are well connected. Ground the test circuit as instructed in this manual.

3. Then discharge the large capacitance test object, which should be discharged with a discharge resistance of 100Ω/V. When discharging, the discharge rod should not be immediately made to contact the test sample, and the discharge rod should be gradually brought closer to the test sample to a certain distance, and there will be a free discharge hissing sound from the air gap. When there is no sound, the discharge rod can be used to discharge to the ground, and finally the ground wire is directly connected to discharge.

4. If the DC high voltage is 200KV and above, although the test is carried out with insulated shoes and at a safe distance away from the area, due to the distribution of the ionospheric electric field of the HVDC, it will affect the different DC positions of several adjacent stations. Testers should not shake hands with each other or touch the grounding point, etc., otherwise a slight electric shock will occur, which is more obvious in dry areas and winter, but because the energy generally does not cause harm to the human body.

5. The high-voltage lead must be hung on the high-voltage output terminal during the test to remove the high-voltage lead
